Today your 4th typing assignment in the Advanced set is due: Accuracy Drills.
Today we are continuing work on the posters that we are creating in Google Docs. The posters are due next week Thursday, May 10th. We will print them out on A4 paper (the size you are supposed to be using) and see what we can do to decorate the hallway. Ok, sorry for not keeping our class blog completely up-to-date during the last quarter. It was a pretty crazy time for everyone. Anyway, we are starting up on 4th Quarter and here is where we stand. Today we are working on our Typing on typingweb.com. We will not check on progress today, in case anyone didn't understand that the 1st Lesson from the Advanced course is due today. So...NEXT WEEK (Actually since we have next week off.....it is due in 2 weeks!) ....we will check to make sure that the first TWO LESSONS are complete from the Advanced Course. They are: Keybaord Quadrants & Skill Builder Drills. Due: Tuesday: May 8th. Today we are going to spend some time getting into our Glogster Accounts. We will be doing typing when we are NOT working on Glogster! You should be finished with SPEED DRILLS this week (although I most likely won't check until next week) and for NEXT week you should complete the Intermediate set by finishing Intermediate Wrap Up. You should be done with Most Common English Words. Next week you should have: Numbers, Numbers, Numbers complete. Today we are checking on your Typing. You should have the first 5 lessons done in the Intermediate set. You should be complete all the way through Basic Punctuation for this week. Next week Tuesday we will check on "Most Common English Words", the 6th assignment due in the Intermediate set. Today we are going to start with our Greek Presentations. If you do not get to present today, then we will present on Tuesday the 14th of February.  Today I will not be in class. You will have a substitute instead who will be supervising you. You will have a lot of work to do today, so you need to get working with your partner on your project. Because of the problems with myfakewall.com we are NOT going to do a FAKE Facebook wall on 1 of your Greek figures. The website is simply not stable enough to work with. It is down more then it is up, so we are going to move on. Instead, what I want you and your partner to do, is to work with Google Docs and create a Presentation on EACH of your figures. Since the look of Google Docs has just recently changed, I want to make sure that you are familiar with it. I want you to have 3 pages of presentation on each of your figures. Since most of you have 3 figures, that means 9 pages about those three people. You should also do a Title/Introduction Slide where you introduce yourself. The primary factor in this Project is HOW YOUR PRESENTATION LOOKS! You will be graded on:
Your Presentation Title should be: 06 - Greeks - Lastname, Lastname, Lastname. (since you are doing this in small groups, all members of the groups last name should be identified.) *Edoardo & Rebecca make sure you put down: Rossi.E or Rossi.R* since you have the same last name. My email, in case you forget is mr.zeise@gmail.com Keep it nice and simple. You don't need to go overboard. We will present our Presentations on Thursday, February 9th, the next week. Each group should have their presentation finished BEFORE class begins! 
Today, you need to be finished with the first 4 lessons of the Intermediate Section. You should have: Learn to Bust a Capital Word finished before class begins. For next week Tuesday, February 7th, you need to have BASIC PUNCTUATION completed.  Welcome to 2nd Semester 6th Grade. Here is where you should be at this point, since we've started the New Year. Typing/Keyboarding: You should have these Intermediate Typing Assignments finished.
